Ghost Direct Debit...

I have this direct debit that keeps coming off each month, but its not listed in my direct debit list. It only says I have my car insurance, mobile and gym, but this one keeps coming off each month and I can't find it.
This happened last year too with some form of insurance I think. I asked about it in branch and they said something like "its a card direct debit, it comes off by your card number, not acc number and s/c, so we'll have to give you a new card to cancel it".
Has anyone ever heard of this, or had a direct debit that doesnt show on your dd list ?

Sounds like a CPA. A new card may not solve the problem.
