Beans tinged with yellow

I planted some beans in a large tub ,they were healthy plants ,new compost,a few days later the leaves looked yellowish.
Also planted some in the ground different make but same thing happened,I watering from a tap not a butt so have no idea what is going on ,any thoughts.

    Beans don't tend to like these cold temperatures either......mine often have a bit of a hissy fit if they don't get much sunshine, but in past years have usually picked up once conditions improve.....if it's ever going to get warmer this year.....!

    If they've only just been planted in compost, then too much water. I cannot imagine how that could have happened. :D (I lost two Camellias during the wet April.)

    Thanks really interesting,so wet here in N/W.Plants on strike,everything seems to be struggling to put on growth.
