:mad: So has anyone else had a similar experience with Travelbag - I found them on Skyscanner and they quoted a low price for a flight.. however, they said that they would confirm the booking in the next 72 hours..
I thought that the price was amazing... almost too good to be true..
They contacted us today to say that the booking did not exist and that Air Transat had provided them with incorrect details...however, they then went on to offer us the same flight which cost £180 more!!

I have complained to Skyscanner and the Advertising Agency as this is not acceptable. Please let me know if you had any similar experiences with Travelbag or other scam travel agencies..!

They havent taken any money and at the point you tried to book they said they would confirm in 72 hours, so whats your problem.0

I went with travelbag last year and had no issues.
This year they could not even get close to prices I could get elsewhere so I booked elsewhere - no issue for me.0 -
I guess my point is that I would like to know what I am paying for before I hand over my credit card details to someone... now they have my details and I never brought anything off them. How is that Consumer Friendly?0

You did know. You voluntarily gave you details to this company. If you wanted you could ask them to remove your details from their systems.
How it it customer friendly to slag off a company and call them scammers when they have done nothing wrong.0 -

Looks like it may have been Air Transat fare software that was the problem, nothing to do with Travelbag.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
