Firefox help

When I start Firefox, it turns into a pure white screen - no taskbar at the top or the bottom just a white screen. I'm using Chrome to get on here but its slow and I dont like it. Can anybody tell me what to do to get FF back to normal? TY!

Hello Arthur Which version of Firefox and which version of Windows,? Try starting without addons - santer will advise hopefully, I am on a small screen in the rub-a-dub and trying to watch football :beer:

I dont know what an addon is nevermind how to start without it! And I sort of wish I was in the pub as well.. football or not Enjoy anyway lol! Windows 7, FF notta clue.

In Firefox, click:

Help > About to see the version
Help > Restart with Add-ons disabled

If you cannot see Help, click the Firebox button in top left first.

Have you pressed the F11 key?

Have you clicked tools at the top then options and looked on the general tab

Has it got when firefox starts show my home page, or show a blank page?

It's a blank white page, wall to wall, I can't see anything at all to click! Having to press windows key to come out and into chrome.

Does Palemoon do the same? You can use the same add ons as the ones for Firefox

Why settle for a basic build of your Firefox browser on Windows Operating Systems when you can have one that is specifically made for getting the most out of your system?

Press [WinKey]+[Pause/Break] on your keyboard to get the specifics on the former - if it's 64-bit you also have the option of using Waterfox.
