B&Q cheap plants!

Just got back from B&Q Wednesbury and they are selling off a fair few of their bedding plants. Trays of fuschas, lobelia, geraniums, etc would be £5 now selling for between 50p and £2.50, they do have trays at full,price of £5, plants are slightly on small side, and in a tray of 6 one may be dead, but just got 11 geraniums for £1 (50p a tray and one dead)' with a bit of feed and TLC the geraniums will last until late Sept/Oct. at Wednesbury some of the plants are with the other bedding plants at full price, however a lot of them are in a section at the back. Hope this helps someone

Hi folks,

I got some plants from here last week! box of 12 petunias, 6 of which were dead, for 10p!! Fuchsias 6 for 50p, and 24 begonias (all were ok) for £1. Great bargains. I never pay top dollar any more!!

me neither, we had begonias and marigolds, trays of 24, for 20p each at my local, over the last 2 weeks (got mine on Saturday afternoons).

At least half of each of the 2 trays I bought is salvageable and still growing, and all have now been planted out in my pots. Mind you, they will be just about the only colour I have in my garden this year apart from my perennials.

i've found that Aldi can have some great offers on plants sometimes

Hopefully not too late as need some new plants for my conservatory... Will pop down tomorrow.

Went to B and Q Sunday and the reduced bit was diabolical pretty much dead stuff with no hope of revival!

Anyway I got three plants for a fiver instead and they were great.
