Need Help Choosing A Charity

Hi
I have a question for any individuals out there who are interested in carbon offsetting their travel or who are just interested in donating to charity.
If you were to pick a reputable charity to donate to what would it be? Doesn't necessarily have to be a UK based charity.
The reason why I ask is because I am about to release a startup where a percentage of cashback from travel is donated to one or split between a couple of charities a year. It's mainly aimed a those who want to give something back when they travel i.e. carbon offsetting.
I'm just trying to get a feel for the charities that people like to donate to. At the minute I seem to be edging towards the WWF
Thanks
Oliver

Personally, I'd always choose people over animals
Save the Children, Oxfam, that sort of thing0
