Lappa valley railway is good for little ones

Hendra holiday park has a swimming pool that is very family friendly (and warm) and open to the general public (or always was). Good for wet days

And Newquay has some lovely beaches for sandcastles and picnics, if the weather is nice :)

    Have a lovely time :)

Crantock beach on other side of newquay is a beautiful beach, you can walk there from newquay, if the tides out walk over the river , if the tides in catch the rowing boat, nice place to get away from the crowds.

Pop into the newsagents and flick through the Wednesday/Thursday weekly Cornish Guardian and Newquay Voice papers - see if they've got half price vouchers in there and where for. They tend to take up a whole page.

Shire horse centre (including soft play areas)not to far from newquay is also good ;holywell bay beach is fantastic with a stream along the beach so you can have a dip with the little ones
