Allotement/garden help needed.

I was personally a bit like your son until i got my allotment, shy, not very social, and didnt know a thing about gardening.
However, alot of the people on allotments are willing to give the new starters advice and help where needed.
1 year on and my allotment is in full swing with everything planted with the help of other plot holders.
Oh, and the grumpy old men arent that bad when you get to know them :P0
