Help me find a family break

My brain is totally fried scouring the internet today for a 2 night break for a family of 2 adults, a 6 year old and a 1 year old baby.
We can go anytime from 17 - 19 July thought about Blackpool but the golf on so its booked out, priced a ferry to Arran and a stay at Auchrannie but the ferry is £100 on its own :eek:
Any ideas folks, we are in Ayrshire so cant go too far down the country, thanks in advance for any help and advice.

Its the first week of our holidays and the second of the scottish hols so most places will try to get a week in a cottage etc . Try laterooms etc for hotels for 2 nights . We stayed in the spread eagle in Jedburgh a few years back good times:cool: hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0
