Car charge point faulty

Hi,

I don't seem to be getting power from the charge point in my 04 reg Fiat Punto for my Sat Nav. I have tried the Sat Nav charging in another car which works fine. So it suggests that the problem is with the charge point in the car. Is it costly to fix?

Have you checked the fuses?
Look in your handbook for the location of the fuses.

these are quite deep in puntos have you made sure its fully in
missus

Fuses on ciggy lighters are notorious for blowing. Check that first and foremost.

If it is a bit rusty try sandpapering it lightly - worked on my old one. Probably safer to do with the battery off just in case.
