Will my nectar points refunded if I cancel my hotel booking?

I recently made a booking through Expedia which accepted Nectar points and I paid the rest in cash. I cancelled the hotel (free cancellation) via its website but it didn't say if my nectar points will be added back. I just think it is only fair if the points are refunded as well. Does anyone know anything about this?

Thanks, well I am going to complain because my nectar points are effectively cash. So Expedia took the cash into their pocket for nothing! I will complain to the Trade Standard.
Thanks for telling me anyway.0 -
