I have an Iphone 4s that accidently had coke spilled on it. I have tried to get it repaired but apparently it is unrepairable and it falls outside the 1 year guarantee. What I am most concerned about is the data on it as it has a private family video that is important for me to retrieve. Is there a way to do this? If so, where can i get it done? I live in Chester.

what happens when you plug it into the PC?
If it's dead, you may want to try removing the back cover (2 screws either side of the dock connector) & washing it under the tap once you remove the battery.
You can connect it without the battery but I fear it may be dead as coke is quite corrosive.0 -

The trick is to take it apart, remove the battery (quite easy, lots of how-tos on the web), remove the screen too, then rinse main parts very thoroughly in copious distilled water, then dry for 2 weeks sitting it on the central heating boiler. There's just a chance it'll come alive enough to access.
There are quite a lot of fixed price repair merchants out there, one might be willing to have a go at getting your video off the dead phone.0
