Call centres on PPI on Mortgages

Hiya
I have had 3 calls now from a centre called First Call who say that I am due a refund of the payment protection I have had against my mortgage with Santander for 11 years and want to get a "PPI Specialist" to contact me. I have explained that I knew I had PPI and agreed to it so don't believe it was mis-sold but they say the government has ordered the bank to pay it back because they shouldn't have sold it whether I knew/agreed or not. It is true or is this just another call centre trying to make money?
Thanks

Your data is not in the public domain. There is no way for anyone to know if you had PPI or not or what providers you used or who sold it to you. Any company who has that information has it fradulently and in breach of the data protection act.they say the government has ordered the bank to pay it back because they shouldn't have sold it whether I knew/agreed or not.
No such ruling. MPPI continues to be arranged daily and there is nothing wrong with that. The Govt has said no such thing and is just another indicator of the level of fraud that claims companies commit in trying to get people to complain.
You should report this company to the ministry of justice by saying exactly what you have here. It is a blatant rule breach and fraudulent misrepresentation of facts.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
