there is a new cashback credit card on the market which offers 5% cashback on your purchases for the first three months and thereafter up to 1.25% cashabck depending on the amount of money you spend....however, you shouldnt use it for cash withdrawals as this is a paid service...good way to save some money, isnt it?

Yes, I think that was mentioned in last week's email from Martin
(the one on 30th May)

If you have the credit rating to obtain an AMEX, yes, it is a sound financial product to take out.0 -
I wouldn't say Capital One's 5% cashback card is particularly new either, considering it was available last year.0

Capital One were issuing their World Mastercard back when I used to work for them, and that was some 5-6 years ago!Capital One Classic Extra £2,450 [06-2012]
Barclaycard Platinum £5,200 [08-2015]
Lloyds Bank Platinum £750 [11-2015]
