Tuesday 12th June What small DFW things will you do today ??

icon7.gifTuesday 12th June - What small DFW things will you do today??!
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.

Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important!

    Good morning everyone.
LPP – Thanks for starting us off this morning.

It’s a lovely sunny day here today and after yesterday I am in a very positive frame of mind. As dh got his promotion and I have been given some part time hours which overall will give us an extra £1200 per month, could that be a flicker of light I see up ahead.

    My list for today:
    :)[STRIKE]Catch up with emails[/STRIKE]
    :)[STRIKE]Phone lady regarding volunteer work[/STRIKE]
    :)[STRIKE]All meals from stores[/STRIKE]
:)[STRIKE]Do work that is in for today[/STRIKE]
:)[STRIKE]Take dd for a walk and collect ds from school[/STRIKE]
:)Collect up washing and do full loads – hang outside to dry Work in Progress, but won't get it out as it has decided to rain.
:)Handwash the delicate items and hang outside to dry Can't do as it is raining.
:)Do some studying and sort study plans
    :)Update food diary
:)Organise presents/cards for dd and father’s day – make a list of what still needs to be done
:)[STRIKE]Make a shopping list and do an online shop[/STRIKE]
:)[STRIKE]Look into management degree that I am interested in and see if I could get any assistance with course fees[/STRIKE] I can't get funding but could pay in instalements, will need to consider.
    :)[STRIKE]Check and water plants[/STRIKE]
:)[STRIKE]Complete surveys and check one poll[/STRIKE]
    :)[STRIKE]Raise invoices for work[/STRIKE]
:)[STRIKE]Update work lists and make a to do list for tomorrow[/STRIKE]

I think that is everything that I need to do today, Hope everyone is having a good Tuesday

All food from stores. I have a lovely tin of soup to have for my lunch at work to match the seasonal weather! Also lifted some mince out of the freezer this morning to cook spag bol with tonight and use up some veg in the fridge. Have started planning our meals to make food and money stretch further

Work out how to pay Co-op shares vouchers into bank. Got £7 worth!

Mountains of work to do today at work :(

Hoover at home and do a bit of ironing in front of the telly tonight

Hi all, dropping in a bit late but

:) have done my ironing too!!
:) cut DH hair with clippers, he always wants a no 1 which terrifies me, what if it won't grow back :rotfl::rotfl:.
:) changed the dd settings on the credit cards to pay in full. Will definitely make me think twice before using them.;)
:) enough money in the bank to buy DS a new pair of school shoes. He has completely gone through the heel on one . Just means we can't spend on anything else this week but got lots in cupboards.

    Have a lovely evening everyone.
