Virgin Media have downgraded me!

Options
Question - So what happens when one is an XL customer and there's nothing to realistically upgrade to? I have 2 telephone lines, Talk unlimited, Talk International, Fully itemised billing, TV size XL, Broadband XL, Movies4 & 5 and Sky Sports 1, 2 & 3 totalling monthly - £117-50 minimum.
Answer - Follow Martin's advice. Phone Virgin Media - I really do miss Sky News and Sky Sports News, honest! and Sky One and Sky Travel and get ....Downgraded! Yes, my Broadband is being downgraded to 2MB and my package total service charges downgraded to £57.50, with immediate effect, not for one month, not for six but permanently forever always - and there was no hassle. I was almost too shocked to accept their offer.
Thanks Martin!:j :j

I phoned and got them to agree the 3 for £30 deal last month plus £1.75 to go for the XL tv package. Just got my first bill and in total including about £4 of call charges it was £26. Somehow they're giving me the tv discount twice. Bill previously was between £50-£60 so I'm mega pleased too.

This site must be costing Virgin media a fortune :)

Yes, they managed somehow to double my discounts too, but beware, they will phone and tell you they've got it wrong and offer you another package. They did that with me and the cost was ridiculous but I accepted it and then called retentions to say I was unhappy and they reduced it for me.
