mothercare card help?

Hi. So i took out a mothercard a couple of years ago. Then last year ( i think, if i remember right) i got a letter from santander saying something like ...as from a certain date you can no longer use the card in stores. Basically i think mothercare and santander stopped working together. So my question is, on my monthly santander statement its telling me i have a certain amount availible, can i still use this account as a credit card? Withdraw cash etc? Or do you think the account/card are both no good? Thanks

If a storecard, i.e. only able to use in Mothercard then I would say no. If credit (VISA or Mastercard) then possibly yes
