Contract come to an end with 3, on a cheap price plan (£10 for 300 mins, 3000 texts and enough internet for what OH needs).
I have just phoned to see what they will offer me to stay, and got 3 options:
Same price with free samsung galaxy i5500
15 per month for desire C or galaxy ace.
OH usually has my old phones, I have an 18 month old desire. He is not bothered what phone he has as long as he can send texts and make calls!
So my question is, what would be a decent android phone to start bargaining with, so he can have my phone and I can get a shiny new one? The ones they have offered are available at the same price at cpw.

well if he is not bothered about the phone go for the cheapy, or see what they will offer on a sim only contract as the desire is probably better than the ones offered anyway, and you might be able to get a better deal on sim only
also have you gone through to cancelations and not upgrades? as you will be offered a much better deal when you go through to cancelations, even more so if you asdk for your pac code (if you dont use your pac code it usualy just carrys on on your current charge and you will have to re-request your pac code and give another 30 days notice)
its also worth while finding out how many mins texts and internet he actually uses as finding another tarrif to work with as this can give other options as they know you are actually looking at others - t mobile do 50 mins 250 texts and 250mb internet for £10.50 a month with a choice of 14 phonesDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0
