Roxburghe Debt Collectors - Parking Charge Notice

I today received a letter from roxburghe debt collectors chasing a PCN that apparently was placed on my car on 28.4.12 at a currys car park in Truro. Apparently it was for "did not use car park providers premises"

The fact is when I returned to my car there was no ticket and I have not had any correspondence at all up until now saying I owe £148 including late payment charges!

The clients name is A S Secri-t but reading other threads on here it says the company no longer exists?

Really worried about ignoring the penalty as there is the threat of court actions and worried about any black spots that may appear on my credit scoring....

CAN ANYONE PLEASE GIVE ME SOME UPTO DATE ADVICE, THANKYOU.

The advice ( which hasn't changed for ages) is to just ignore these clowns. It's not a "penalty" it's an unenforceable invoice. Don't be scared by the name "debt collector". They are not bailiffs but private individuals with no more power than you or me to demand money off people.

I can assure you that it will never get to court. For your credit rating to be damaged the case would have to go to court, you lose and THEN you refuse to pay whatever the judge orders within 28 days. As I said, this will never get to court so there is nothing to worry about.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

An impersonation of Authority Scam, just ignore, sit tight and dont bite.
You will end up owing enough to bail out the Eurozone in fake charges.
So dont worry, enjoy life and Ignore these Scam artists

Roxburghe send out literally tens of thousands of these letters. How many non-payers do they actually take to Court?

    The answer is ZERO.

They might send you a couple letters using their alias of Graham White (Phoney Solicitor) or they might not bother.

Whatever, if you ignore them they go away. Even mosquitoes are more of a threat because if you ignore them, they bite you.

So forget it, nothing will happen; guaranteed.

Good luck to the Saints next season.

Ignore the clowns, you owe them nothing.

Roxburghe are toothless dogs, they wouldn't even know how to do court
  • Can some one offer advice.

A family member had a PCN on McDonalds car park over 3 years ago, We apealed in writing ( as he was not parked illegally he used the store) we sent it recorded delivery no reply , another letter sent 6 weeks following recorded delivery no reply.

3 years passed the letters were disposed of we assumed is was not going any further.

One month ago we receive a notice for the money again I explained on the phone to no avail.

We ignored the letter, now we have recived a letter from Roxburghe demanding the money, if we continue to ignore the debt can ANYONE credit black list either him or our address?

    HELP pls

    Answer = NOPE they can't!

And you wasted your Recorded Delivery fees, could have ignored from the start.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You can only have your credit rating affected by companies that you have a credit agreement with, i.e. banks & utilities.

Private parking companies CAN NOT affect your credit rating.
