Quick ways of boosting credit score?

Hi i'm new to the website! I guess also that information may be on the site for this already (if so where can i find it?).

So basically the question is.... How can i quickly boost my credit rating?

Unfortunately there is no "quick fix". It takes time, just continue making payments each month, stay within your current credit limits and don't be late with those payments, and you'll find as time goes on your file will look better.

intresting, any sites for tips? my friend said taking out a credit card and paying it all off straight away helps...

And he's right, all things being equal (i.e. assuming you do pay, and depending on what your previous 6 years' credit history also says about you). However, credit building in this way (or any other way) takes months, years even.

Your credit 'score' means nothing at all, so don't focus on that too much.
