People say a whole spectrum of things about what I post - that's part of what this place is like. If you only want replies you are happy with suggest, politely.. you look elsewhere.
Cheers!

I have no grumble or gripe Artful, I am responding to what I thought was a post seeking help and when faced with reams of propaganda (and having dealt with it first hand) chose to end exchanging help or comment as I doubt the veracity of the initial post.
You know me I keep the squabbles to our correspondent from the Moors on TAB
Stop! Think. Read the small print. Trust nothing and assume that it is your responsibility. That way it rarely goes wrong.

Come on, that's clearly not true, you only have to read back through the forums to see I have only defended posts that attacked or made gross assumptions on my personal circumstances that do not reflect what I have said.
People who have provided the advice I was seeking have been treated with respect and been thanked, again their is clear evidence of this throughout the thread0 -
And I gave several pieces of worthwhile advice.
I still doubt the veracity of the original post. I recall there was a council house thread somewhere on the forum, perhaps you can further your point of view there.
Before consigning me to the right perhaps you read http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=ujzvUyqvGCoC&printsec=frontcover&dq=%22Garden+cities+of+tomorrow%22&redir_esc=y#v=onepage&q&f=false though it sadly the second and slightly less controversial versionStop! Your first post was decent, but I polity explained why it was not possible to achieve, due to circumstances out of my control and then you preceded to make false assumptions at my expense i.e. 'opt into having my housing provided for , cheaply , by tax payer subsidy from those paying and in-turn opting out of paying taxes'
I'll read your recommended book, it looks interesting, but from what I can see it looks like its based on a concentric zone model, based on capitalism, but since capitalism fuels elitism, racism, crime and probably half the hate spate on these boards, I don't see how it could be plausible, but I will reserve judgement and read it.
However one thing I know is that if you look at the past i.e. poor law, act of settlement, workhouses, you can pretty much work out the future i.e. universal credit, no movement of labour, working in Tesco for 40 hours for benefits under that of minimum wage and you only have to read Benjamin Disraeli's Sybil to see the Divisions in Society are prevalent today.0 -
My housing provider has a scheme which pays £1000 for each bedroom a tenant gives up and rehouses the tenant in an area of their choosing. Is there a scheme available to you?
I do realise it is very difficult to move out of area but perhaps your LL could recommend you to another LL.
I wouldn't give up your security of tenure by renting privately. Until the govt. change the private rental laws your only real security is with a social housing provider and that's worth it's weight in gold.0
