How to sell a car quickly

  • Sounds a decent car, couple of things would be important to me, in the write up you have given you could easily itemise the service history and give the history of previous ownership.
The sentence about the hole in the roof puts me off, it comes across to me as a bodge job which i'm sure its not.

Cars like this will always be harder to sell than a cloned hatchback, they are a car for single people or a toy for couples who don't have children needing to be ferried or second cars.

Honestly, I'd go for Autotrader. I sold my husbands car easily enough through Autotrader last year, and it wasn't anything like as desirable as yours.

The sites you have used so far I would guess are populated by people who already have the car they want, they're interested in cars, but they are lookers, rather than buyers.

I thought the advertising cost with autotrader was very reasonable. We only got one viewer for the car, but they knew what they wanted and had the money, that was all we needed.
I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say. :)

Also what History do you mean?

date and mileage of the services,
other work done, last time/mileage major things were changed, tyres, brakes, belts.

I don't know the interval on those, but 10k ago could be 6 months or 2 years can't be long for the next one.

location and weather as well as being a niche market it may take time.

What about a part ex for another mazda still they know it may take them some time so need a good margin.

It needs a service, your asking top price but it overdue a service (9k or 1 year). There easy to change the oil on, just buy good stuff, to keep her happy.
