It wouldn't make any difference either way, as the word doesn't affect any of the 'chosen' letters I misspelt October (fortunately the important C was correct) & still managed to enter the final word COMIC at the end with no problem

Have to say a big thanks to everyone on here. I kept shying away from this thread since I started looking in this forum mid July'ish & last night I took the plunge to have a read through.

[strike] That first post is a bit daunting! Still don't really get the first post with colours[/strike] but I'm reading the individual posts to enter some of the comps (ones I would like to win, let someone else win the others )

So thanks everyone I'll keep reading it [strike]& see if I can make sense of the colours which somehow link comps together (that's as far as I can understand!)[/strike]

EDIT: I think I get it now as I went through the puzzler site list of comps & noticed that some of them have the same answer ID code - which must be what the colours are for

Having been through the whole list though, I've got quite a few which don't have answers & aren't listed on the first post - am I doing it wrong or is that usual?
