My washing machine sounds like a pneumatic drill when spinning (16 months old
) Got someone coming out tomorrow to have a look. So I don't look like a complete and utter twit can anyone tell me what they think the problem could be and what sort of cost would I be looking at to put it right?
Many thanks.
Many thanks.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

Hello Bambam
I can't give you any technical advice but if you haven't already done so...............check that the machine is level using a spirit level. It was probably checked when you first installed the machine but maybe the machine has been pulled out to allow access for cleaning or decorating since then?;)

The washing machine is in the garage. Checked it's level. The tumbler dryer was sitting on top, so that's been taken off but it's still making a helluva rumbling noise on spin cycle, albeit not quite so bad. It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.:kisses3:0

Check the pump drain port for obstructions
Could be a counterbalance weight has shifted or one of the damping arms.
Hope its not the bearings that's not a fun job
