Swinton Home Emergency Cover - better than conventional boiler cover?

My boiler cover renewal has come through from Homeserve and it is getting harder and harder to afford. For the last few years I have managed to get the price knocked down after calling them but even if they reduce it by the usual amount it will still be expensive so I'm looking for alternatives.
Swinton have 'Home Emergency Insurance' cover with the most expensive costing about 7 quid a month.

It claims to cover situations where the central heating breaks down so as far as I am concerned it matches everything provided by Homeserves offering but is much cheaper.
Has anyone got this insurance from Swinton or can anybody spot a downside? Maybe they only patch up the boiler in a breakdown and not really fix it?

One downside is you can only take this out in conjunction with a swinton home insurance policy.0

Joshua you clearly work for Swintons, if you post on internet forums, you break a law if you pretend to be a customer when you're in fact an employee. So best not to blur the line.
P.S You seem to be reviving a few threads on Swintons, if you're on a crusade to praise or advise upset Swintons customers you may be in for a shock when you find how many upset customer threads you find on MSE let alone the whole tinternet.0
