Halifax saver rates.

Can somebody look into there crystal ball and tell me if the Halifax are going to introduce an easy access saver rate paying 3.2% similar to B.M. and Santander ?

I'd be surprised.
BM is part of LBG along with Halifax. LBG usually use BM (including AA and Saga) to pay higher rates when they want to reel in the cash from rate tarts.0 -
If interest rates go up generally then I'd say yes, otherwise no.
Halifax pay more than LTSB and BM, AA pay more than Halifax.
Strange they are supposed to be the same group, yet they are competing in this way.0 -
