Opened one of the files and a message pops up asking me to purchase a WinRAR license or delete it from my computer as it's not free software. I'm totally at a loss now. It's like reading a foreign language so any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for being so untechy.0

Theres 40 pages of file decompression programs, must be one thats freeware that works on RAR's...............

I managed to right click and opened them with compressed folder, then extracted and reinstalled but the hotkey utility error messages are still coming up on restart.
Think it was me who installed WinRAR when I was following some instructions on how to view the telly on my laptop whilst abroad. Definitely up for typing a few commands.0 -

What exactly did you disable/do - none of these programs are mentioned in the sticky or in the suggestions in your previous thread.
post a hijackthis log and compare it with the previous one
have you got any network drives mapped, in explorer? if so, disconnect them in explorer - assuming you don't want them to connect to another machine or nas.!!
