Ppi rejection

I have recently recieved a letter back from my mortgage company (morgan stanley) after i requested my t&cs and credit agreement,
and i qoute "i confirm that the above account is not regulated under the cosumer credit act 1974 and consequently i am unable to release this information" can anybody help cos iam now confused.

That is correct. You have relied on the wrong piece of legislation.
If you want to make a complaint about a missale of PPI, a copy of the terms and conditions of your mortgage will not help you anyway.0 -
mortgages are not regulated under the consumer credit act. So, requesting deatils under the CCA wont work.
as mentioned above, there is no reason to ask for your details as PPI doesnt appear on mortgage agreements anyway (its on of the reasons why MPPI has lower upheld rates)I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
