Delay in delivery - Sainsburys

Hi all,
I bought a wardrobe from Sainsburys Online a while back and it was stated that delivery would be within 3-4 weeks.
After 4 weeks I phoned to ask on progress of the order as I hadn't had the promised phone call. Eventually they found the order, but due to a computer error it hadn't actually been ordered.
We are now in week 6, where do I stand?
They are trying to keep me informed, but whenever they ring its "the IT department haven't made any progress"?!
Any advice/ammunition I can use against them would be appreciated.

It really depends on what you want to achieve.

You could write, email is ok, and cancel you order at any time and receive a full refund.

You could state that if you don't receive the goods by (say) 25 June then you will cancel.

If delivery is 3/4 weeks and the wardrobe only got ordered 2 weeks ago there's still another 2 week's for the wardrobe to arrive.

They ordered 6 weeks ago. The OP says that.

They also say 4 weeks later the item hadn't been ordered due to an error.
