My son, who is not even a teenager, has bought himself an Ipod Touch with his bday money. He needs an Apple id but, obviously, I don't want to put in my credit card details (doh) so how can he get an id and download all those free lovey games he wants to get???? Could someone talk me through it s-l-o-w-l-y and gently please?:eek:

You don't need a CC or DC to setup an Apple ID. (Not that I remember anyway). Worst case buy an Itunes card (e.g. £10) and setup using that.
My daughter has an Apple ID but no CC/DC.
Ergo no necessity to Jailbreak (and potentially void the warranty).
