Hi all,
I'm off on hols in a few weeks and wondered has anyone used any meet and greet service at gatwick? There seems to be quite a lot of companies doing it, but I've watched bad things about some of them on TV... how can I avoid the dodgy ones? I have 2 young kids so this would e ideal if I can find a good one...
(also, any one know a good site to book one?)
thanks

I always use meet & greet at gatwick :T...am i allowed to mention which one? (MM).
They have always been spot on time, polite and helpful...and i'm usually travelling at odd hours (2am, 4am, etc).
Meet and greet is often cheaper than parking in the car park and getting the bus to the terminal.
The driver checks the car for any damage and helps load the bags to a trolley...v useful when travelling with kids and no partner!
When we return we phone the number given when we're at baggage reclaim and the car's outside the door when we step out.
Love meet and greet!!! :j
i book via holiday extras web siteSealed Pot Challenge member 439 :T

aah thanks, I think i found the one you mentionee (Maple Manor?)
It's £100 on holiday exras website, but they have a £2 credit card fee (i hate paying card fees!) Anyone know where I could get this cheaper, or a good price comparison site?
thanks again0 -
Try https://www.holidayextras.co.uk. I have used Purple Parking many times at Heathrow, not Gatwick though, and they have never let me down.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

Have you looked for alternatives ? I have used parkatmyhouse twice when flying from Luton and have had excellent service, and very good prices, including being dropped off and collected, phoned from baggage hall, and by the time I got to the pickup point the pickup was just arriving.
There seem to be plenty of places and reasonable prices, some include pickup and drop off.

NB I have no association with them, just a very happy punter.0 -
I prefer the official long stay car park at Gatwick, I've just booked it for 8 days. At a total cost of £64. I park the car, I keep my keys, no one else touches it or takes it out for trips ( as a meet and greet did once at Gatwick). Unload car get on transfer bus and offload at terminal. Coming back buses tend to run every 5- 10 minutes.
Even short stay for a week was only £100 pre booked when I checked on the official Gatwick site. That would be even easier, park car undercover get trolley and push it a short distance to terminal.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Or, park your car on a side street near by and get a taxi to pick you up at a cost of £6 each way roughly. Job done!0

I can personally recommend ACE Meet & Greet and Eco Parking meet and greet, they've both had my £50 000 luxury SUV and both times it's come back exactly as I left it. Also for park and ride parking I usually use APH, plus you can get paid to park if you can find it cheaper than at https://www.essentialtravel.co.uk/airportparking using Quidco Cashback, simply find somewhere cheaper first, book then use the price promise at the link below, plus when they refund you they won't cancel your cashback.
