Free garden design Software
Has anyone used any software for garden design that is free.

BBC has some. Personally though, it's better to stick with pencil and paper. Use google images to find design ideas you like and put them down.Tim0

I'm in the same boat as you Calley!
I tried the BBC one - it's not bad but is quite limited in what you can achieve. I've since used SketchUp which is part of Google.
I'm not too bad on a PC but have never used anything like this before however I read the basic video tutorials and away I went;)
I now have a brill 3D plan of what I want to achieve. (You can just do 2D if you want to). You can also make everything to scale which really helps to make sure everything you desire will actually fit into the garden!
It really has brought my 'garden' to life....on PC screen at least:rotfl:Stopped smoking 20th October 2012
This year I will have something that resembles a garden and not a building site!0
