Thanks weeowens... I received a less then useful response:

    "Thank you for contacting ITV.

The prize also includes a Mercedes E Class Estate Sport.

When entering a competition you need to meet the terms and conditions.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any further questions.

    Kind Regards"

Oh well... still worth it if you can transfer!:o

lol I sometimes wonder if people actually read the emails they get sent! I've just entered as well and don't drive. Oh well. 60K will have to do... :D

That is if you are considered eligible without holding a valid and current drivers licence.
The first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will be the winner of the prize, subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions
The winner is required to hold a valid and current driver’s licence

Stop press! Sorry to bump... but with no further input from me, I received a very nice email from ITV:

Thank you for your email regarding our recent Prize Draw. The reason we require our winner to have a driving licence is because this particular car, which forms part of the prize, must be collected from a Mercedes car dealership.

If our winner should be without a licence then they would be unable collect the Mercedes car and a cash equivalent cannot be offered. The winner would however still be eligible to the £60,000 cheque and all the other prizes as listed in our terms and conditions: http://www.itv.com/termsandconditions/competitionsandvotes/daybreaklorrainecompetitionwc11thjune2012/default.html. The competition remains open to online entries until midday on Thursday 28th June.

We trust that we have been able to answer your question and if you should have any further programme related comments or enquiries, please do get back in touch.

    Kind regards
    Penny

    Does a provisional count?

I have had a Provisional for some years and have never passed my test!

I would be happy to forfeit the car if it meant I could still have all the other prizes.

I could enter in my hubby's name, but putting his phone number would be pointless, as he drives for a living and probably wouldn't answer his phone if he got a winning call.
