It's 6 months from the date on your first sick note. Even if work are still paying you tax credits won't.
Thanks for your reply. I take it then that my tax credits will stop soon? I have been off work since mid october 2011. So that means I've been off work for coming up to 8 months. should I be expecting them to stop my payments then? I have fully explained my situation to them and they seem to be saying I will continue to be paid? I'm so sorry to sound so dense, I am when it comes to s

Your working tax credits should have stopped but your child tax credits will continue. I'd call and remind them of this as you seriously don't want an overpayment.0
