When best to buy a 207?

OH wants to change her car, currently a 3yr old 1.9 Fiat Grande Punto Sport. She wants something nippy like that, so guess 100bhp +, but smaller than the Punto.
I was looking at the 207 sports in various guises, and told that this is finishing. Now, the new one comes out around mid June.
Can anyone in the trade tell me when, and where to buy maybe ex Demo's of the 207 at the best possible price. I think the Punto, despite low mileage is only worth 5k or so, so would like not ro borrow more than another 4k.
Thanks.

I agree with Sgt. Pepper. I had one - numerous common electrical faults - niggly stuff that will have you pulling your hair out. Friends who have had them have had similar problems.Save £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0

Walking?
Ok, I'll play. If she's had a bit of italian (the Grande Punto is a damn good car imo) then what about a alfa mito? Even the 120bhp 1.4 gets you to 60 in 8.8s0 -

Dont know if you're referring to engine size or actual car size but the 207 is the same length as the Grande Punto and actually wider.Went shoplifting at the Disneystore today.

Thanks all for your comments.
Admit I thought the 207 was smaller! The Alfo looks interesting, may have a look at that. The problem with the Punto is that build quality is very poor....it rattles and clunks along, developing problems already with an electric window, and the cooling system playing up.
Ah well, we shall see.O would some power the giftie gie us to see ourselves as others see us.

After driving a Peugeot you'll think it was a Rolls Royce!:rotfl:0 -
I have a 207 I love it....never caused me any problems since I brought it in 2008.... It is bigger than you think though...and it has a big bum!! (much like it's owner in my case!!) ha haA lot of fellows nowadays have a B.A., M.D., or Ph.D. Unfortunately, they don't have a J.O.B."0
