Tiscali mail problem

Hi just a quick query. My Dad can't access his emails in Tiscali. It's Windows 7 Internet Explorer. He clicks on an email to open it and gets a error saying it could be corrupted. On the desktop PC I click on the email and nothing happen on Windows Vista Firefox.

Any ideas?

From your references to Internet Explorer and Firefox, one presumes you're trying to use webmail?

I had this with webmail as well. I had to use to use the email I'd set up on the computer instead, then they opened ok.

It happened to me yesterday - I left it a few hours then logged back on, and all was fine.

My tiscali email often refuses to load. Leave it a bit and it works. Don't really use it much though. Prefer others.

Thought I would let everybody know I went in a couple of minutes later and it was working again. I was a bit worried because the laptop got a virus which MSE dealt with.

I've told Dad to go to a different email provider like yahoo or hotmail. Tiscali can be a bit tempermental.

This is a known ongoing issue since the talktalk takeover - they are on a big program of merging all the individual ISPs involved e-mail systems onto the TT platform....it's getting there, but there is still some disruption whilst the changeover is in progress
