Thanks to darkteckno for the useful information and to sammy11 for asking the question in the first place.

I asked for mine - and then saw the offer end date, which had passed. Nonetheless I received the pedometer and cereal bar within about two days. I've never received such a prompt response.

I got one of these a few months back as I lost my 'talking' pedometer (which is really annoying... I mean the talky bit!) but when I moved house found it . I wondered if they would bother come up with the same steps etc. NOPE! completely different! I walked five miles... the free one said I had only walked 250 steps (I'm not that tall) and the one I paid for said 650 steps... I don't think that's right either.
I followed the instructions - how to wear it etc. The one I paid for requires that you enter more info ie step length and height.

I've stopped using them both now as I now that the walk to and from work is 8.4 miles and figure that should nearly cover 'steps' required and I joined a gym a two months ago! (just need to stop eating crisps now:eek: )

maybe I got duds! anyone know if there's is correct?

  • Hi,

hope you're all still doing a bit of walking, and using your pedometer.

Once you get the Online Step Account full, after the eight weeks, you can just go back to the start and delete the data and start again, though I do a week at a time, so as I still have a target to beat.

I only wear it when going a distance walk, I don't clip it to PJs when I get up in the morning, and my best day was 20636, so not bad.

    Happy walking. :j
