Problem Installing Software - Help Please

Hiya

I have been trying for two days to install new software Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 without success.

I have double checked that the laptop has the required memory etc.

I have also updated windows so it has the latest updates, I have also disabled the antivirus software and firewall settings incase this was the issue but I am still having no luck.

I know the product key is fine as I installed on another laptop as you are allowed to install on 2 pcs and it installed without any problems.

Its my aunts laptop that is the problem and it has only recently had a new hard drive so effectively it has been wiped and should be back to being a brand new laptop.

The error message is Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 encountered an error during setup.

I would appreciate any help

Does it have anything else, such as

encountered an error during setup" CAQuietExec wevtutil.exe BCSEvents.man

Or

Error: Failed to install product: C:\MSOCache\All Users\{91140000-0011-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE}-C\ProPlusrWW.msi ErrorCode: 1603(0x643).

No nothing just the small message I posted above which happens just after it has verified the product key and the installation is beginning. The small green bar that shows its loading appears and then boom the message comes up.

Santer your an absolute star that worked a treat. Ive spent about 10 hours on this too.

Anyway I am just glad its working now.
