in Credit cards
Hi Guys,
I know this question is probably asked alot but i couldn't find the answer using the search.
If you leave a credit card how long do you normally have to wait before you can re apply and take advantage of the promotions like 0% on balance transfers?
I had a RBS card when i was at uni and never used it so closed it when i was like 20. I am now 26 and wouldn't mind a RBS card but i don't know where i stand. Same with Virgin. I left them 2 years ago. Is it to soon to return and get the 0% again.
Any advice would be great

You can apply anytime....generally with most providers you have to wait 6 months to a year sometimes even sooner0

Great news. Might apply for one of them soon then.
Thanks0 -
This tells you how long each card issuer needs before considering a new application:

Hi
We have a mortgage with the Abbey national. We owe £52,000 and still have just over 15 years left to pay it. We are in our 40's and are looking to reduce the years left to pay the mortgage, yet keep the mortgage payments low. We are paying £380 a month at the moment, on a repayment mortgage.
Can you help please
Many thanks0 -

You should really start a new thread on the mortgages board for this rather than hi-jacking this unrelated one.0 -
marillion777chris. Its easy to accidentally post a reply instead of starting a new thread.
Simply go back to the main forum where all the different categories are. Pick the one you need and click "New Thread"
That will then let you start your own conversation so people can specifically answer you.
Hope that helps.0
