Capital One Classic Card

I've been in the process of trying to rebuild my credit over the last few years after defaulting on 3 debts in 2009 due to getting too deep in - my own fault, but I've learned a lot from it. Anyways, I've applied for a Capital One card every 12 months and been declined the last twice, but this time around they've accepted me.

I was shocked to see the e-mail from them and called today to confirm it. The most bizarre thing is I was expecting the minimum credit limit of £200, but they told me over the phone that I've been given £1000! All I'm planning to do is buy my general food shopping and pay it in full each month, so could not believe the size of the limit given to me, particularly with 3 defaults still on my file.

Anyone else had similar experiences?

They gave me my monthly wages limit, I've no credit (which is seen as bad)
