Card Protection Payments

Does any one know is it easy to cancel card protection insurance?
i've just set up and payment agreement with MINT for 6 months but i want to cancel the card payment protection? will they let me do it?

    Just call them up and say that you want to cancel it. Should be as easy as that.

    One bank agreed over the phone. One wanted me to send a letter to request. The third sent me a form saying I understood the "risk" and still wanted them to cancel. Didn't have any actual problem though.

    Just ring them and they will tell you what they require.


    Sorry just re-read that it's MINT. Either go to your online banking (if you have set it up), there is a cancellation request there, and they forward you their form automatically which you then sign to say you know the "risk" of cancelling. Or ring them and ask them to send you the form. Send it to them and they cancel it.

    Very easy and yes they should let you cancel.
