Advice on shower head/handset

Having install a pump to improve the water supply to my shower. I am now faced with a dilemma. As per the picture below, the wall is not flush with my tub, which means that water tends to find its way to the bathroom floor.

Solutions I've considered
(a) getting a shower handset with a long neck. Couldn't find anything remotely like that on the market. One possibility would be to build an extension with one male and one female end.
(b) placing a separation of some sort, flush with the tub.
(c) redoing my bathroom. Too expensive at this stage.

For now am resorting to a DIY'ed shower curtain and towels. Any advice would be welcomed.

can you not shift the rail on to the tiled wall instead and buy a longer hose

The problem isn't clear from what you've said and the piccy, but simply repositioning the shower to the left so it is directly over the bath??, would seem the 1st option.

    Methinks more info reqd, ;)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Yes - reposition shower from end of bath to side of bath. You can probably (at a stretch) keep the existing hose) and then fit a circular shower curtain like this (but a nice white one):

Thanks for the tip. The problem is the water pressure. As soon as I will open the tap, water will gush out and wet areas outside the tub. Unless if I try to position the head directly down rather than at an angle.
