Dolphin Tours in Lagos - Portugal

Hi,
Off there for three weeks near the end of July. Have looked at Trip Adviser and found a couple of companies that do this but just wondered if anyone had any personal experience.
I know that they can't guarantee seeing dolphins but i have heard of some companies who offer a free tour if you do not see any.
Any advice/stories/recommendations appreciated?

I went to Lagos last year and did a dolphin tour - although typically I can't remember the name of the company we used!
The area we stayed was right by the marina and there were lots of people standing around selling the tours, although we didn't book with them. Instead we went over the bridge into the town where is a small tourist booking centre, the people running it were English and very friendly. They set us up with a deal so we did the dolphin tours + the grotto tours for a discounted price when we booked them together.
The dolphin tour itself was great fun - took us a while to find some but got there eventually! They have a radio between all the tour boats - so even if a boat from another company finds the dolphins, they will radio in to let everyone know where they are. I don't know about whether we'd have gotten a refund/free tour or not if we hadn't seen any.
But yes we did see some for the last half hour of the trip - some swam right by the boat but they'd found some fish so were a bit distracted! Quite interesting to watch them feed though - according to the tour guide it's something you don't see very often (although apparently when they're not feeding they're more inquisitive and come to the boat a bit more, which I probably would've preferred, but heyho!)
But anyway, it was relatively cheap (can't remember the exact price) and it's a great, fun way to spend a morning, so I recommend it

Thanks, sounds good. We'll definitely do it, just not sure who to go with. I have found a few companies that do it but wasn't sure whether to leave it until we are out there or book something in advance.0

Dolphin seafaris http://www.seafaris.net/ is the main company. You can either book down at the marina or on the promenade. I think you can pay extra for the option to take another trip if you don't see dolphins during your trip.
The grotto trips are also good.0
