iphone insurance

My son starts university in september and i need to take out some insurance for his iphone laptop etc,do insurance companies do a job-lot or do i need seperate policies.could someone point me in the right direction,thank you

    Have you asked your own Home Insurers, most decent policies will automatically cover your son's contents at uni for free.

    You might need to extend the policy to cover his iphone and laptop etc when he is away from his digs.

    Ask them to explain any restrictions as it's common for theft cover at his digs to be subject to signs of a violent or forcible entry
