Hi all
We have one of the sun newpaper hols booked for August, but may be unable to go.
Is it possible to sell it, and how would that work? I would need t let the holiday park know, surely - else what would happen if the new people destroyed the caravan etc, and they thought it was me?
Many thanks

Not sure if you could ring the resort up and amend the guests for a fee prior to the holiday. it would have to be a few weeks before mind.
Could friends or family not use it and then just offer you a goodwill fee? that way you know who its going to?
Worst case scenario, dont pay the rest of the fee and lose the £60 deposit?0 -

Hi
I sold one a few years back. the buyer had to pay some change of details fee, but it wasn't much and then the whole holiday was in their name :-)Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Hi all
Its Hafan Y Mor in Wales, for a 3 night weekend in August.
Unfortunately for us, we were quick off the mark and have paid the entertainments passes etc, so have spent £120ish on it, so would hope to re-coup some of the money
Will give Haven a ring and see if a transfer is allowed - and if so, how much would that cost.
I will let you all know, and if anyone is interested, if I can transfer the names id be happy to sellThe opposite of what you know...is also true0 -

It depends if you 'opt out' of other things like bedding, enterainments passes etc. We normally do when it is just me and hubby, but there we were taking the (grown up) kids this time, so had booked the ents passes, and the linen to save the extra baggage lolThe opposite of what you know...is also true0 -
