Hotmail blocked - how do I get it unblocked?

Hi all
Hotmail has blocked my account after some spam emails were sent to all my contacts. but when I try to log in it only gives me the option of having a code sent to an old work email address to unlock it. I've been going around in circles trying to resolve this but you have to be logged in to send a message to their forum board and I've found no way of contacting Hotmail direct. I know it's a long shot but does anyone have any ideas of how to make contact with Hotmail direct or to update the old email address that is attached to my settings?
Thanks so much in advance

Same thing happened to me a month ago. I had them send me a code to my mobile. I can't remember where I found that option but it was certainly within their own help menu0
