conservatory roof costs

Hi, was wondering if anyone would have a rough idea about costs for a conservatory roof.
Have plans for a 3 * 3.5m2 conservatory and got qoutes for the foundations and dwarf wall, but need to get ideas for costs of roof to let me have an idea of total costings. Probable going to go with polycarb unless glass isn't a huge amount more, but don't want to spend too much as not a forever house.
Just thought someone might have an idea of costs before I start getting in touch with people. Had a nightmare getting building quotes builders not turning up, or coming around then not getting back to us. thanks

Give "C & A Building plastics" a ring, and ask for a catalogue

With no disrespect why are you splitting it like that? by all means get the quotes for the foundations and the dwarf wall, but you really need to get the plastic work and the glass plus the roof, from the same supplier.
If there is any mismatch you will be in a serious hole.
Don't over complicate a simple project.
I used Centurian Conservatories late last year, cost effective and very reliable.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

sorry, maybe I wasn't clear, we have arranged for a builder to do the foundations and base wall and are now looking for plastic door/window and roof supplier but have no idea of costs. I can see rough costs for windows and doors on line but no idea on the roof. We do intend to get them all from same person and have arranged some visits for the next week to try and get clear qoutes but wanted a figure in my mind, thanks0

If you have no idea of costs, then why not go and ask a potential supplier. That is what quotes are for, to give you an idea of the cost. Which is exactly what you are trying to find out.
It is no good saying to a supplier that someone on a forum said that the job should cost £x's. The reply will be,"if you think that is what it should cost, you had better get the forum poster to do it for that price".I can afford anything that I want.

As you will note I was asking if anyone had any clue, just so that I would have an idea in my mind. Given this is a public forum my assumption would be there would be others who have had such work done on their own properties recently, or people who carry out such work. As I mentioned we wanted a rough idea to allow us to think our own budget through. At no point did I say I would be using any feedback I received to argue against any quotes I received. Obviously we've been in touch with companies and are awaiting their visit hence me asking in the mean time. "Rough idea about costs" didn't ask for a detailed price breakdown, so wasn't actually what I was asking for.0

My 5m x 3m conservatory cost £4000 supplied (not fitted). glass roof. couple of pointers.. get heat reflective glass as it's like an oven on a hot day, and if the glass roof has a joint (transome) half way down it will probably leak before long. get roof glass in one length if poss0

Can only go by what 1 spent last year, larger though.
just over 6mtr x 4mtr and to a bespoke design as it is free standing rather than attached to the house, technically an "orangery", but it has a back wall in full height brick with windows. IE still a three plastic sided construction but with a double hip roof, it slopes 4 ways from a central ridge.
Paid £5200 for the complete kit inc opaque 30mm poly roof panels.
The foundation and walls not included of course.
The interesting thing was I saw quotes approaching £30k for the same thing scratch built.:eek:I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

All conservatories have different problems to take into account, hence there can be very little in the way of specific information available on a forum.I can afford anything that I want.
