It's an accumulation unit, so it won't pay out a dividend, but there will likely be an underlying dividend automatically reinvested on behalf of unitholders which needs to be declared on self assessment for higher rate taxpayers.Fisher_man - According to FE Trustnet there don't appear to have been any 'dividends/distributions' for your version of the fund - M&G Global Basics A Acc EUR - at least since 31st October 2010 which is probably why you don't have anything to report.

More details I've found show no dividends for Fisher_man's fund M&G Global Basics A Acc EUR since 30th October 2009 - but there are some shown for previous years.

Perversely enough, the non Euro-hedged Income version had a dividend in September 2011, which is also reported on the GBP Accumulation share class but not the Euro share class...It won't pay it out, but it is published for tax purposes and is normally shown shown as a dividend on FE Trustnet.

Apologies for the confusion, by the way, I had thought trustnet reported only actual dividends paid rather than internal ones.I am a Chartered Financial Planner
