Claim Refund on Tube for delays
If you're fed-up of being delayed on the tube and feel there is no justice, it has been possible for sometime to claim the cost of each single journey where you have been delayed by at least 15 minutes.
Not many tube users no about this, but if anything it should make the poor service more pallatable.
You can either claim by using the Customer Charter Refund Form usually available outside the ticket office or if you have an oyster card you can claim online through the link

It takes a few weeks and you get a voucher that you can offset against your next purchase.
If you use some of the more unreliable parts of ther tube if may give some appeasment.

I have recieved £7.50 so far...for a 16 min delay.
When you send your ticket off they check that you have had an at least 15 minute delay by seeing at what times your tickets had passed through the gates. So therefore, even if the gates are open, it pays to swipe your tickets through.
- and you can also use the CCR vouchers as full or part-payment for rail travel into London in the SE - as long as a Tube ticket is purchased on that ticket as well...sorry no links in signatures by site rules - Forum Team 20
