lol, money isn't the issue with this one.
It's an enormous ancient boiler on the floor. Chopping up the shower/utility into two rooms and need a smaller wall mounted boiler
Once boiler has been changed and is on the wall I can then get the flooring damp proofed and laid level too
After lots more research tho, I am probably a bit more in favour of a conventional boiler. But I'll wait to 100% decide until I have people out to assess my house etc.
Get the keys Fri, got 2 independent guys coming to quote Sat, just to set up one more0 -
Do what the purchaser of my previous home did, book the gas company to condemn the old boiler on the day you move in and go back to sellers solicitor to s**ew the seller for the cost of a new boiler. Oh and then boast about it all round town.0

Do not get an ideal boiler, it'll cost you in the long run. Just search on here for posts about them, they were/are fitted under the governments Warmfront scheme - and are pretty much guaranteed to fail once the manufacturers warranty runs out.0

Mid range boiler for me would be the BROAG Avanta Plus.
Why a 24 though? I would recommend a 28kw if you have >12 ,
L/m cold flow.
i totally agree on the make of boiler whether you go combi or conventional boiler, if you do go down the combi route i wouldn't fit anything less than a 28kw & would prob go for the 35kw or 39kw if your funds allow, all combi's will heat your rads it's the hot water flow rate you need to look at, bigger output boiler = more hot water flow rate.I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
The 35c will be dropping in price July 2nd, to make it more competitive when the new range comes out at that time as well.0
